I was watching the tube the other night and happened across a documentary called: Half the Sky. It's about prostitution in India and other parts of the world and the organizations trying to give the women and their children an opportunity for a different path in life. It was educational, depressing, inspirational and made me want to find out more about it and how I could help. To that end, I'm # 17 on the wait list at the library to read "Half the Sky," by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.
